208/30 Press, the e-book publishing house of The Polish Review, invites translators to submit queries for inclusion in the Library of Polish Classics. Those interested should send us a letter explaining the proposed project to:
At the moment, we are mainly interested in the Polish classics now in the public domain. However, newer titles will also be considered, granted that the translator proposing the project has first obtained the copyright holder’s permission to translate and publish his or her work. Note that our modest list includes one contemporary work, the electronic re-issue of Janusz A. Ihnatowicz’s revised Displeasure, and Other Poems. It is the translator’s responsibility to secure such permissions from the copyright holders.
